We are delighted to announce that Orchard has been shortlisted for 3 awards for the upcoming Dynamites Awards 17 run by Dynamo North East. This is an industry-led initiative focusing on growing the tech sector in the North East. The Dynamites Awards are all about shining a spotlight on our successful North East organisations and recognising the amazing talent in our region.

We have been shortlisted for the 3 awards in recognition of our ground-breaking work across our Digital solution set, including our Digital Platform, Orchard Go and Income Analytics which is represented across all with awards.

Collaborator of the Year

  • The submission was for our work with Komodo Digital on our ‘Digital’ solutions: Digital Platform, Income Analytics, and upcoming collaboration on Orchard Go

Project of the Year

  • This submission was for our innovative Income Analytics solution that has been designed to combat the increasing level of arrears and the cost of managing additional arrears cases, both a result of Universal Credit and Welfare Reform.
  • Income Analytics has been developed in partnership with Coast and Country Housing, First Ark, livin Housing, Phoenix Community Housing, and Newcastle University as part of a KTP partnership.

Rising Star

  • Farida Mustafazade has been shortlisted for the ‘Rising Star’ award. Farida joined Orchard as a Data Scientist through a KTP Partnership with Newcastle University and is playing a key part in the Income Analytics project. This comes shortly after Farida has been invited to present at the Government Statistical Service (GSS) conference on 22nd and 23rd November .
