Payroll

The OpenPay modules provides a fully functional payroll processing and management system, integrated with the human resource, time and attendance and OpenAccounts modules enabling single data entry. This is the core module for payroll parameterisation, maintenance of employee payroll details and payroll production. Within this solution a large number of companies/payrolls can be maintained on each system. All data entry of employees details and current periods variations can be entered on-line, via batch input from other systems or via bulk update. Payroll processing can be performed for individuals, groups or all employees over a range of frequencies. A full range of enquiry and reporting options are provided giving the user easy access to employee and management information. This solution can also be customised to accommodate your organisations specific requirements and varying levels of access and security can be applied.

Human Resources

OpenResource is a fully integrated modular system that offers a complete solution to human resource needs allowing development of the system at your own pace. Each module can be tailored to meet the unique requirements of your organisation using the screen builder. The menus can be customised to accommodate varying levels of access and security. Standard reports are available within the solution, combined with the ability to produce ad hoc reports through the integrated report writer. The core data held in this module is available to both payroll and HR users as it is held in a single database.

Time and Attendance

The OpenTime modules allow you to easily monitor employee attendance, absence, lateness, work being carried out, jobs being worked on and employee movements. Attendance information is provided for payroll processing, ensuring both accuracy of input and costing. The solution offers a wide range of flexibility and can accommodate varying level of access and security. Standard reports are available throughout the system, together with the ability to produce ad-hoc reports through the integrated report writer. Absence and holiday planning, recording, tracking and reporting are all easily achieved and can be administered and viewed at individual or group level. All absence codes are user definable and individually colour coded on an employee calendar for ease of use. Absence codes can be linked to payroll for automatic payment of SSP, OSP and holiday pay.

Workflow

eOpenPeople is a Workflow module designed for collection, handling, processing, auditing and delivery of data documents through and around the organisation. The open-ended flexibility that makes the Workflow module unique, allows initial use of the solution for its HR and Payroll functions, with user-defined electronic forms gradually replacing existing paper forms and documents, providing movement towards the paperless office whilst maintaining high levels of visibility for audit purposes.

Occupational Sick Pay

The Occupational Sick Pay module within OpenPeople automates this labour intensive process and removes the scope for human error that can lead to inaccuracies. This flexible module can be tailored to meet your organisations specific requirements as parameters can be set within the module to manage your own rules regarding entitlement. Sick pay can then be calculated and paid based on these rules.

Screen Builder

Screen building within OpenPeople has been designed to provide a simple user tool that enables you to enhance the functionality of your solution by designing your own screens, or by making changes to the existing screen layouts. This process simply involves changing the field labels to reflect your organisational structure or creating new screens and adding them to your menus.

Report Writer

OpenPeople report writer is designed to be a flexible, user friendly tool that allows the production of comprehensive reports quickly and easily. Reports can be viewed on-line, printed immediately or stored for future use. A seamless link is provided which interfaces with the majority of graphic, spreadsheets and word processing packages. One important aspect of the report writer is that it allows easy cross function reporting as it accesses all fields within the fully integrated database, subjected to user defined security.
