NHF Finance 2011 - Results for ‘Biggest Finance Headache’ Text Survey

At this year's National Housing Federation's Housing Finance Conference and Exhibition we conducted an SMS Text Survey using Orchard Communicator (Powered by Deeplake CMGR). Orchard Communicator enables housing providers to exploit new communications technology to improve customer service and to gain an immediate and measurable return on investment.

As part of a wider campaign involving direct mail and advertising, we wanted to gain an insight into what were the biggest problems and challenges facing professionals from various Housing Provider Finance departments today - essentially what was their 'biggest headache'?

From the list of questions below (A to F), participants sent an SMS Text Message indicating their biggest headache.

Orchard Communicator in turn collated and analysed the results of the survey which were shown live on Orchard's stand.

The results comprised of 64 respondents and showed that there are a range of issues facing Finance departments today, as shown below. Orchard plan to rerun the survey in September to see if Budgeting and Component Accounting remain the current hot topics.
