OpenAccounts : e-Finance

eFinance from OpenAccounts extends the access to the Finance system from the Finance department to the whole organisation using web technologies.

eFinance in OpenAccounts means four things:

eForms

Any form currently being utilised by an organisation can be built as an electronic form. From requesting a new supplier through purchase authorisations to a holiday request or an eForm can be created to replicate any paper form. Standard forms to optimise the use of the Finance system are supplied by OpenAccounts. These include requisition creation and approval forms, invoice approval forms and data request forms. These standard forms may be tailored to suit specific business requirements.

Workflow

eForms can have any business logic built into them to automate standard process and workflow. Email notifications, out of office processing, escalations as well as process monitoring and reporting all come as standard.

Web deployment

eForms are accessed via a web browser meaning there is no OpenAccounts "footprint" on the client at all. All that is required to use eForms and the logic within them is Internet Explorer. This means that deployment of eForms is very straightforward.

Self-service

Enquiries and reports may be made available to departmental managers / budget holders as well as customers and suppliers by supplying them with hyperlinks. Alternatively, customers and suppliers could be given access to eFinance via the internet.
